The added balcony offered stunning seaviews that enhanced our experience. I also appreciated the larger than average bed, providing ample space for a restful night’s sleep.
It was a minor issue, but it occasionally interrupted my ability to share my beautiful views online.

Exceptionally comfortable beds, it's own balcony, a storage, and coffee in the room. Outstanding view of the sea. Pleasant staff and attention to detail. Marvellous location for visiting cafes and pubs a short walk to the hotel. Excellent restaurant not too far away from the property...

Overall it was a really lovely stay for one night. Had central location down to the beach. Moreover, it's next to botanic gardens, cafe, and Ventnor. I loved the breakfast time in the dining room.

The location and sea veiw were fantastic, it was amazing and relaxing sitting on the veranda. All the staff were very helpful. Irrespective of my dislikes I would recommend this hotel
Poor parking, Evening meal took a long time to be served, the starter was very good, the main course was poor. I did not realise that the price exclded vat which was added to the advertised total cost. Plugs not working.

The panoramic view across Ventnor bay from the bedroom room Direct access to the patio from the bedroom Breakfast served on the patio by friendly and polite staff. Easy access to the beach and promenade. Short car journey to other sandy beaches
Parking was an issue, however the reception staff always tried to be helpful and tried to find a squeeze in space for us' Having said that the car park with space was only a short walk away...... However you needed to buy a parking ticket by 8am!!!! A one hour wait for dinner in the resturant, which wasn't busy!

The hotel was very quiet and the view was beautiful. It was definitely worth choosing to have a balcony The staff were very efficient and friendly.
The mattress needs changing as it was hard and the springs could be felt. The pillows were rather too flat and solid. Other than this everything was good.

Ventnor's culinary scene is a proper treat! Smoking Lobster was a highlight-delicious food and cocktails just a stone's throw away. The room had a splendid sea view!
Iron availability was a bit dodgy. Had to improvise with hair straighteners! Maybe a proper iron management system would keep things neat.

Balconies and Sea Views great, good breakfast (excellent scrambled eggs!) Free wifi
Had to ask reception for free wifi, but rooms are a long way away from reception to go ask! Why don't they give you the access key when you check in?? Lots of stairs. Shower over bath is just from bath taps.

The lovely, well-decorated dining area, and the fine sea view provided a beautiful backdrop. I especially appreciated the comfortable seating arrangement.
More accessible options for seniors would be appreciated.

perfect view, spacious room (super deluxe), dinner and breakfasts good
parking was available as it was low season; a worry in high season.

Attractive and spacious room with a splendid sea view. The facilities and service seemed to accord with the principle of 'comfortable minimalism'.
Menu was the same each evening.
